Over the weekend, the ex-works price of section steel in Tangshan market decreased by 20-30 yuan/t. At present, the intermediate specification of I-beam was 4,180 yuan/t, channel steel was 4,120 yuan/t, and angle steel was 4,120 yuan/t. The steel strip price decreased by 30-50 yuan/t, of which the narrow strip was 3,980-4,000 yuan/t, the medium strip was 3,910-3,940 yuan/t, and wide strip was 3,930-3,950 yuan/t.

          Over the weekend, the ex-works price of common carbon billet in Tangshan market stood at 3,770 yuan/t. The spot price quoted at 3,840-3,850 yuan/t, falling by 30-40 yuan/t with poor transaction.

          It is expected that this week (August 29-September 2), China’s steel market price will rise slightly, imported ore and billet market price will go up, scrap market price will vibrate, coking coal and coke market price will stabilize.
