Platts EMEA Turkish Ferrous Scrap Daily Rationale

Platts assessed Turkish imports of premium heavy melting scrap 1/2 (80:20) at $383.50/mt CFR March 25, up $1.50/mt on the day.

Offers for premium quality HMS 1/2 (80:20) were reported at $385-$390/mt CFR Turkey. Offers for the European origin HMS 1/2 (80:20) were reported at $385/mt CFR. Tradable values for the US and Baltic HMS 1/2 (80:20) were reported in the range of $382-$389/mt CFR Turkey, with the majority of indications clustered around $382-$385/mt CFR.
