Angang's First Coil of Ultra-Thin Eco-Coated Electrical Steel Successfully Rolled

Angang Steel has recently achieved breakthroughs in both production and sales of ultra-thin high-end electrical steel.

The first coil of 0.10mm ultra-thin eco-coated electrical steel grade 10ADG950 has been successfully rolled, reaching industry-leading standards and filling a gap within the Angang Group.

In addition, the 0.15mm ultra-thin electrical steel grade 15AD1000 is being promoted simultaneously at several advanced motor manufacturers and has received certification orders.

The Silicon Steel Business Unit of Angang overcame multiple technical bottlenecks in the rolling and annealing processes to produce the first 0.10mm ultra-thin eco-coated electrical steel 10ADG950.

The product exhibits excellent performance indicators, including an iron loss P1.0/400 of 9.4W/kg, magnetic induction of 1.658T, and yield strength as high as 430MPa. It is widely applicable to high-efficiency motors used in robotics.

Meanwhile, the 0.15mm ultra-thin electrical steel grade 15AD1000 has gained strong market recognition for its stable performance and quality.

Following the successful delivery of initial orders in April of this year, it has now received certification orders from several advanced motor manufacturers.

In recent years, the Silicon Steel Business Unit has maintained a product-focused, market-oriented approach, concentrating on high-end manufacturing demands and continuously increasing R&D investment.

It has successfully overcome a range of key technologies, including coordinated control of iron loss, magnetic induction, and strength, ultra-thin gauge rolling, low-tension annealing, and self-bonding coatings.

The successful production and market promotion of these two ultra-thin electrical steel products not only further enhances Angang Group's high-end electrical steel product portfolio but also strengthens its influence in supplying strategic emerging industries such as new energy and smart manufacturing, laying a solid foundation for building a world-class silicon steel brand.
