Platts Asia HRC Assessment Rationale

The S&P Global Platts SAE1006 grade hot-rolled coil assessment was up $4/mt at $604/mt CFR Southeast Asia Nov. 27 amid strong demand and tight supply.

While offers for January shipment were absent, an offer for February shipment was at $605/mt CFR. A bid was at $600/mt CFR for end-January shipment for Chinese SAE.
