It is reported that Tangshan strives to withdraw from the bottom 20 of the 168 key monitored cities nationwide in the comprehensive air quality index in March.

          Backward Equipment & Capacity Elimination in Steel Industry

          (1) 7*450m3 blast furnaces of Yanshan Steel, Tangsteel Stainless Steel Company will be shut down before March 10; 5*4.3 m chamber coke ovens of Jianlong Coke and Lugang Coke will be shut down after heating season.

          (2) All equipment in Xinbaotai Steel will be shut down before March 10.
