Recently, Baosteel's 2021 & 1Q2022 Results Release was held online. Zou Jixin, president of Baosteel, said at the press conference that in terms of scale expansion, the company’s goal would be to make production scale 80 million tons in 2024 and 100 million tons in 2027. He showed that the expansion of the scale of the iron and steel industry would be mainly through the path of joint restructuring and mergers and acquisitions integration.
