According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's crude steel, pig iron, and steel products production in January-February reached 167.96 million tons, 140.73 million tons, and 213.43 million tons, respectively. This represents a year-on-year increase of 1.6% for crude steel, a decrease of 0.6% for pig iron, and an increase of 7.9% for steel.
The average daily output during this period was 2.7993 million tons for crude steel, 2.3455 million tons for pig iron, and 3.5572 million tons for products. Compared to December of the previous year, this mark increases of 28.7%, 19.5%, and 1.6%, respectively.
Furthermore, calculations indicate that the supply of crude steel and steel during January-February amounted to 152.24 million tons and 198.65 million tons, respectively. This represents a year-on-year decrease of 1.3% for crude steel and an increase of 6.2% for steel.
