China domestic price, Major Markets on April 9, 2024

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,555 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 38 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,884 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 8 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,790 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 26 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 4,387 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 3 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of billet in Qian’an rose by 40 yuan to 3,380-3,390 yuan/t on April 9. Spot resources were priced 3,450-3,460 yuan/t amid good transaction. It is expected that billet price in Tangshan market will increase with vibration in near future.
