SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 88.85 points (3,843 yuan) on March 4, 2025, down 0.24 point (11 yuan) from the previous trading day. Details are as below:

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,341 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 20 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,532 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 7 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,438 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 13 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 4,171 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, down 2 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an fell by 30-40 yuan to 3,050-3,060 yuan/t on March 4. Spot resources were priced 3,130 yuan/t amid sluggish transactions.
