China's Steel Exports Increased by 6.7% YoY in January-February

According to customs statistics, China exported a total of 16.97 million tons of steel in January-February, an increase of 1.06 million tons or 6.7% year-on-year. Meanwhile, steel imports totaled 1.05 million tons, down 81,000 tons or 7.2% year-on-year.

During the same period, iron ore imports reached 191.36 million tons, a decrease of 17.63 million tons or 8.4% year-on-year. The average customs import price was 99.4 USD/ton, down 30.7 USD/ton from the same period last year.
