SteelHome (China) Steel Price Index (SHCNSI) was 85.39 points (3,693 yuan) on October 27, 2025, up 0.17 point (7 yuan) from the previous trading day. Details are as below:

Construction steel: 20mm HRB400 rebar averaged at 3,136 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 11 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Medium plate: 20mm Q235 medium plate price averaged at 3,483 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 2 yuan/t from previous trading day.

HRC: 5.75mm Q235 HRC average price was 3,351 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 11 yuan/t from previous trading day.

CRC: Average price of 1.0mm SPCC CRC was 3,915 yuan/t in 28 domestic markets, up 3 yuan/t from previous trading day.

Ex-works price of steel billet in Qian’an rose by 10-20 yuan to 2,960-2,980 yuan/t on October 27. Spot resources were priced 3,040 yuan/t. Billet prices are expected to run strongly in the short term.
